Honestly, it’s starting to make me quite sad that people are so paralyzed by fear that they cannot see the good news even when it’s right in front of their faces.
Case in point is this story yesterday from Malta, a member state of the European Union.
The article correctly notes that the country is seeing a dramatic uptick in the rise of the percentage of tests that come back positive even though the number of tests being conducted is the same.

Yet, at the same time, it takes until the final paragraph for the author to note:
While the number of cases has continued to skyrocket, the number of cases in hospital – particularly in intensive care – has remained comparatively low.
Hmm…
What could cause cases to skyrocket to all-time highs but not cause people to get seriously ill?
Oh, right
Note: Cover photo is Moldovan Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita at a public ceremony during the last week of December 2021, engaging in some Covid theater. Keep in mind that she gave up a cushy life in London and a generous salary to come back to Moldova in order to write letters to random citizens in Tiraspol LOL
90% of the population being vaccinated could also be a factor. I mean, maybe?
