The government of Russia might be the “evil enemy”, but tourists from Russia are now being courted to come visit Romania in a new program entitled “Discover Romania”.

In 2015, approximately 6 million Russian tourists went on vacation in Turkey and Egypt, where each one spent approximately 1000 euros each for their vacation package and 1000 euros locally while on vacation. Romania represents a great alternative tourist destination for Russian tourists.
