I was very interested to see this, a project by a Romanian photographer to document the interior of 10 different apartments built during the Communist era.
Each photo was shot from the same position in each of the single room apartments. This is “in order to better illustrate the mixture of several social classes under the same roof, displaying only differences in the character and the design of the place,” Gîrbovan says. “The dwellers will be included in the photographs to better point out the variety of backgrounds they come from.”
The exterior of these apartments is identical but the interiors reflect the personalities of the occupants. Very cool!
What a cool project! I’m always so impressed by what amazing apartment interiors people can have although the outside of their building block may look so dismal.
