Behind Closed Doors in Brussels…

  1. It seems to me that it is not about the right to vote on whether to keep the President or not , but how this was accomplished to get to this point. When one party can run roughshod over the government to get what they want it doesn’t sound like a Democracy any longer to me. You end up with an interim president that wasn’t actually voted for?

  2. I would have never expected you to get involved in the political war that takes place in Romania.
Why is it so difficult to accept that the only output in this is to give to Romanians the chance to re-elect, or not, their president?
WTF, is our right to vote and choose our leaders! We’re not in Cuba, right ?

    1. Spot on, Alex! Sam has a very interesting view on democracy; Roberta Anastase counting votes from non-existing people is very democratic while asking Romanians to vote if they still want someone as president is a serious attack to democracy. I guess the meaning of democracy changes when applied outside USA. :-D
