Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for yet another video LOL. This time however it’s got nothing to do with Cleo and instead focuses on everything else about Unicorn City, the magical and wonderful place where I have lived lo these many years.

I already got comments that it’s “too long” and I’m sure many of you won’t like it either. That’s fine. My mission was solely to push the software to its absolute limit and see what both it and my new computer could handle. I’ve got every trick in the book in there, from multiple inset images, video filters, time distortion, one clip running backwards, transform effects and a variety of transitions plus ornate text effects.

Some of them are pretty obvious but others are more or less invisible. It’s one of those hilarious situations kind of like writing. Easy writing is damn hard work and “easy” video viewing is also hard work to edit and assemble. But in both cases (writing and video editing) it’s also a lot of fun, which is why I did it.

My other “mission” was to use solely footage from Cluj that none of you have seen before, including from when I was being filmed for the ProTV segment (the guy with the hat “Euro Kissing” the girl in the red coat is Alex Dima, the producer of that segment). As always, it’s better if 1) you love Cluj and 2) you know 99% of the people in these shots, as I do.

For those of you who want the full detail, I tried to work in a few “hidden” things in here as well. I purposefully framed some shots and juxtaposed others in order to (at least try) make a coherent statement about some things. If you don’t care, watch the video (or not) but if you’re one of those people who like such things, there’s some good stuff “woven” throughout.
