Ah sorry for the Conway Twitty reference but I realize I’ve been a little absent here of late.

First of all, much thanks and a warm welcome to the ladies of the CIWC, with whom I had the good fortune to meet earlier today. If you are are a foreigner and living or moving to Cluj-Napoca (and you’re a woman), I encourage you to click on the link and get in touch with them.

Things are going amazingly well, which is why I must ask your indulgence for my spotty writing as of late. Episode 2 of Romania! The Documentary is now “in the can” and should be posted online here by tomorrow. I really had to struggle with the first episode as it was mostly about me but now with Episode 2 (and beyond) we’re going to get into the “meat” of what I wanted to create – a documentary showing many of the wonderful people in this country.

Other than that, my life continues apace. Theoretically I’ll be in Gandul sometime soon (in Romanian). I continue to meet new and interesting people, including a ton of visitors, travelers and even some fresh emigres. I’m also still signing books, still giving interviews and still working on all kinds of other things which I’ll keep to myself for now until they are ready for all of you :)

Even though the documentary is being released with a new episode every week, I’ve still got a little more filming to do so a couple of road trips are lined up for the near future. I’m also working on moving to a new apartment so the short summary of my life is very busy indeed :P

I’ve modified the sidebar so you can more easily find the episodes as they are released. As always, for those of you who use Facebook, my page can be found on the right-hand sidebar as well. For now everything is being uploaded to my YouTube channel before anywhere else so be sure to check that out if you’d like to see the material as soon as it’s uploaded.

What else? Well I think that’s it for now. Thanks for visiting my little blog and thanks for all the “likes”, thumbs up, wall posts, email sharing links, messages and all of the other ways you’ve given positive feedback on what I’m trying to accomplish here. I’m quite excited about everything and am quite happy at how it’s going.
