A few known “copy pasters”:

Victor Ponta, currently the Prime Ministr, plagiarized large swathes of his 2003 doctoral dissertation

Victor Ponta, currently the Prime Minister, plagiarized portions of his 2010 book

Ioan Mang, former Education Minister under Ponta, currently a member of the government in Bihor County, plagiarized portions of up to 10 different academic papers

Corinea Dumitrescu, nominated as Education Minister under Ponta, currently still the head of a lobbying group representing private universities and head of Dimitrie Cantemir university, falsified her CV and co-authored at least one academic paper with plagiarized material

Laura Codruta Kovesi, currently the Attorney General of Romania’s highest criminal court, plagiarized portions of her doctoral dissertation

Whomever filled out Romania’s paperwork for the last round of financing from the World Bank clearly copied and pasted material for use on the application
