  1. Hello all from Phoenix, Arizona, US
These sentences are a hoot. Made me laugh so hard the milk I was drinking nearly came out my nose. I too have heard these or similar sentences while traveling throughout the United States. I lived in Kansas for 16 years and still use word like y’all (you all) in everyday speaking. io is correct on how the sentence should have been worded. However, Irina is correct as to the actual translation.

  2. Ok ok, I got this.
1 sounds like “Come at me, bro” so I’ll go with a.
2 is one of my all time favourites which I always screw up but, if I stop to think about it, it might be b. Or c. I don’t know if the same person made the movie or if someone else did it. :-?
    3-I really don’t see the difference between a, c and d. So I’ll go with b.
    4-b, I guess, although a) made me laugh. :D
    5-a
    6-Well I guess they’re going for the meaning illustrated by a), however they’re saying…b)?
    7-a
PS: Does anyone else do this thing where they don’t know the answer to a question, skip to the end and then work their way upwards? :P
