A week ago, I was waiting to meet with the ProTV crew for the first time. Since it’s difficult to find my home address (if you’re not a long-time resident of Cluj) I told them to meet me near the CFR stadium. As I waited, I saw this elderly lady pass me and doggedly climb the hill with the use of her walking sticks.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Romania has an elderly population that is in amazingly good shape, where even people of very advanced years still get out and about. Since I had my (still) camera with me, I zoomed in and took a few shots, one of which you can see above.
