So… I have opened comments below so tell me what you think. If you have some suggestions, I’d really like to hear them! Whether “big” or “small”, “silly” or “serious”, just tell me what you think might work.
Obviously I’m thinking bigger than just some ad for my book – this isn’t about putting money in my pocket but really getting a chance to reach the potential visitor to Romania, to tell them WHY this country is great and to encourage them to spend their money and get on a plane (or train, etc) and come here.

We have no “national pride” left because the key people running this country are incompetent and this is putting it mildly. One of the people doing even more damage to our international image, if this even exists, is the same woman running the Ministry of Tourism.
I believe you remember the scandal regarding the famous leaf. The first step towards increasing tourism and foreign investment to Romania is her resignation.
I am honored and proud that you have taken interest towards promoting what is now your country too. Unfortunately you are one of the few.

I’m a bit confused. Are they offering you the opportunity to advertise on their website, or are you looking for a way to generate interest for your book and the site? I own romaniantreks.com and romanianjourneys.com. I’ve been thinking about getting them up and running just to generate some interest for the parts and aspects of Romania that are not well known. Still a concept in progress, but I’d like to get your book on there as a guide, and also your input.
By the way, I bought your book recently. Extremely entertaining and very accurate.
