Well, I am very thankful to have begun a new life here in the Republic of Moldova. Today is a major holiday for all Americans, and I guess somewhere in my soul I will always remain just a tiny bit American :)

Pictured above is the feast I made in my Soviet-era apartment entirely without a kitchen. Call it “guerilla” style cooking!

Wasn’t exactly what other Americans might be eating today but it was darn tasty. Following tradition, I ate until my stomach was bursting and then I fell asleep, woke up and then ate some more :)
